HIRING: Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist

Plan International Philippines is looking for a Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist

under the Inclusive Community Disaster Risk Management Project.

The Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist will lead the implementation of the Inclusive Community Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (IC-DRRM) Project.
He/She will provide supervisory and technical support and ensure the monitoring
and evaluation of the project. He/She will also ensure compliance with donor
reportorial requirements, closely monitor the work plan of community development
facilitators and coordinate with other relevant staff to ensure that intervention fall
within the overall goal of the project. This role will be based in Occidental Mindoro.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Behavioral Sciences,
   or other related courses
* Has a minimum of five (5) years work experience in community development or
   humanitarian work in technical capacity or disaster risk management
* Has relevant experience and training in the rights-based approach to development
   project management, participatory rapid/rural appraisal, cultural sensitivity, gender
   sensitivity, disaster risk reduction, and management
* Applicants must have the right to work in the Philippines without restrictions.
