On July 15 to 19, 10AM to 9PM, Powerbooks Store
has a Warehouse Sale on their Alabang Town Center branch
with up to 80% OFF ON BOOKS (all caps para intense)!
Last time I went to a Powerbooks sale,
I got a hardbound DC full-color graphic novel
for 600php. The original price was 1,500php.
Judging by experience on book hunting,
Powerbooks sale are really worth checking out.
The books on sale are in very good condition
and the marked down prices prove great savings.

Then, July 15 to 19, 9A.M. to 9P.M., National Book Store
has a Payday Sale on their Quezon Avenue branch
with up to 80% off on selected items.
The advertisement seem promising for me
since NBS had been marking down books
on several sale events these past few months.
However, the hint of doubt is still there.
Recalling the Marikina Warehouse Sale last April,
the advertisement indicated "up to 80% off on books"
while this one just said "on selected items".
Well, if you live near the area, you might as well
drop by and check it out. It's still worth a try.

whether books would be available there
so we could also inform other book geeks.)

And last but not the least, Books for Less
shall be having a Warehouse Sale from August 1-31,
9AM to 6PM (except August 3, 10, 17, and 24).
They noted thousands of books at 20php,
which is quite a very promising advertisement.
But if you are into books on very good condition,
Books for Less might not cater to your satisfaction.
No offense meant on that statement though,
since they sell some slightly damaged books.
Hmmm... I guess I haven't missed anything else.
