Should you buy Super Delights Brownies, maybe NOT?

     First of all, kudos to Prifood Corporation for coming up with such an addictive snack. I am but a humble consumer of your awesome product. I wrote this article not to besmirch the company nor their products. Hindi ko sila sinisiraan. I just want to share my opinion based on my recent observations.

     I also buy Super Delights Brownies. Hindi pa yan masyadong sikat, nakatikim na ako niyan at masasabi ko talagang hahanap hanapin yung ganyang lasa at kalidad. A friend of mine shared his pack to me that day. Sabi ko pa sa kanya, "Uy, ang sarap nito ah. Saan mo nabili? Magkano yung ganito?". Those might not be my exact words but who cares? Basta hindi ko makakalimutan yung sagot niya, "Sa palengke sa San Pablo, 45 pesos lang yan.". See kung gaano kamura? Mura na, masarap pa, diba?

     To be honest, I really searched for the product afterwards. And to my surprise, anak ng brownies, 100php ang retail price online, meron pang 150php. Buti yung iba acceptable pa at 50php or 60php. Then, I did some research. Effort kung effort para sa masarap na brownies. From several moms group from the Philippines, may mga nakabili at 38php from a few Puregold and Shopwise branches. Ibig sabihin, kung direct and bulk kumukuha mula sa factory, pwede pang mas mababa sa 38php. Sa Marikina at Farmers Market Cubao, 40php lang per pack. Sabihin na nating nagbabayad ng pwesto at malayo ang pinagkuhanan nung iba, 45php to 60php acceptable pa naman diba?

     Sobrang taas ng demand for this particular product kaya sinasamantala ng ibang nagtitinda. I saw some posts from online shops, kahon kahon pa ang pictures nila at direct daw sa factory, then sa message na lang daw ang price dahil ginto na ang presyo dahil sa taas ng demand. Akala ko ba direct from the factory kayo? May friend akong packer sa Prifood, kachat ko siya kanina. Hindi naman pala totoong nagtaas ng presyo sa factory. Hindi porke mataas ang demand, basta basta na lang tataasan ng presyo ang isang produkto. Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No.7394), Title III, Chapter I, basa basa din po tayo ng batas. Totoong mataas ang demand for Super Delights Brownies, lagi ngang hiring ng packer ang Prifood ng dahil diyan pero inuulit ko at uulitin ko pa ulit, hindi sila nagtataas ng presyo.

     Totoo, masarap talaga ang Super Delights Brownies. Pero bago ka bumili, check out other sources muna. Some grocery stores and mini marts have them, also public markets. If you don't have time to search outside at online ang pinaka convenient para sa'yo, utilize Facebook's search bar. Just type "Super Delights (your location)" e.g. Super Delights Marikina, for sure makakahanap ka ng mabibilhan sa patas na presyo. Kung namamahalan ka pa sa current price, wait ka lang ng konti. A few weeks or so, bababa rin ang presyo ng mga yan. Walang maloloko kung walang nagpapaloko. Sabi pa nga nung ibang online seller, "negosyo yan eh", kaya sinasamantala ang mataas na presyo. Pero excuse me rin po sa inyo, yung tindera po sa palengke na nagbabayad ng pwesto, ibinebenta yan for 45 to 60php. May tax pa po sila dahil registered business sila, nagbabayad pa ng barangay permit, mayor's permit, at BIR na may annual registration fee at tax. Eh kayo pong mga abusadong online seller, may permit man lang po ba kayo? F.Y.I. hindi po sapat ang DTI permit to conduct any business. Pangalan lang po ng business ang binabayaran sa DTI. Bato bato sa langit...

     I think I've made my point here. Sana may natutunan kayo. Uulitin ko, lower that 38php mabibili sa factory ng Prifood Corporation ang Super Delights Brownies, direct from factory and in bulk po yan. Bago bumili, tumingin muna sa iba, grocery stores, mini marts, public markets, nearby online sellers, etc... 45 to 60php, acceptable pa po yan based on my point of view. But to those who offer the product at more than 100% profit for them, wag na lang po. Para sa mga resellers na kumukuha sa gahaman na distributor, saan ang factory ng Prifood? Paciano Rizal, Calamba, Laguna, from Crossing Calamba, sakay kayo to Canlubang, sabihin niyo sa Prifood kayo. Alam na ni manong yun. Para sa mga gahaman na distributor, kilabutan naman po sana kayo sa tindi ng panlalamang niyo sa kapwa niyo. Change is coming mo mukha mo, ayusin mo muna ang sarili mo. At para naman sa mga consumers tulad ko, tandaan niyo lang yung mga sinabi ko. Share this as well para malaman din ng iba.
